A web platform for sharing videos. On February 14, 2005, it was registered by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim, three former employees of the American company PayPal. Not only that, this video sharing service also will allows other users can watch, like, share, comment and upload their own videos. The video service can be accessed on PCs, laptops, tablets and via mobile phones. As YouTube is one of the most used sited on internet, it is giving many benefits for educators and students for educational purposes.
FEATURES:
Basic features in YouTube are including playback, resolution, speed, subtitles, and playlists. You can play the videos in there more than once, control the video's resolution, choose the subtitles and create your own playlist.
Dark Mode. This feature reduces the light emitted by device screens while maintaining the minimum color contrast ratios required for readability. Not only it can conserves battery power, it also can decrease the eye strain effects.
Big Screen Interface. For example, you can manage your live TV experience with your TV's remote control or game controller using android TV devices like NVIDIA SHIELD, and TVs with Android TV built-in, such as Sony.
Double Tap. By, double-tap on the left side of the video, it will rewind by 10 seconds or on the right side of the video to fast-forward by 10 seconds but it only works when it full screen now.
Live Streams. YouTube Live lets you connect, communicate and engage with your audience in more meaningful ways. It is an easy way to reach the community.
BENEFITS FOR TEACHERS:
Video is flexible teaching medium. When teacher create YouTube channel, they can upload all the videos relevant to a particular subject or lesion for current and future students. Therefore, the teaching materials will always ready even though the teachers are absent because they can simply record the lesson on their YouTube channel or simply give out instructions for the students to follow. Teachers also can provides that videos for many classrooms and no need to redo create the videos.
Using subtitles in the video is more effective and innovative. This is because it will attract the students to watch the visuals, learn and improved reading with literacy skills. Educator goals is to get students energized and engaged in the hands-on learning process.
Create experience and improved teacher's knowledge about particular subject. By making interesting videos, teachers will discover new issues/news or research to show to their students. Therefore, sensory experience that allows concepts and ideas to actually become an experience and come to life as students are guided through each adventure.
Provides another right educational videos for references. This is important for additional information and ideas for teachers, schools, parents and students about the effective use of video in the classroom, and in education generally, in order to assist them in their commitment to a path of constant improvement.

Interesting way to study. Visual aids are proven can increase student's understanding on the subject and it allows for microlearning with short and effective videos.
